Kimberly Tessmer
Kim is an E-RYT 200 currently pursuing her 300 RYT. A Yoga Instructor since 2015, Kim has been a certified fitness instructor since 2009. She is also a certified Thai Massage Practitioner and Barre Instructor.
"Yoga has been a life-changing practice for me, it has given me the tools to navigate difficult times, physically, mentally, and emotionally. It has helped me develop an awareness of my behaviors, reactions, patterns, thoughts, breath and body that I never knew existed."
Kim shares the gifts of yoga with as many humans as possible, her focus is sharing yoga in the underserved black & brown community. Partnering with the Synergy Health Center (Breaking the stigma of mental health in the black and brown community), Kim works to make yoga more accessible within their organizational reach and teach teens mindfulness and yoga as part of a grant funded program teaching Mental Health Awareness and Mindfulness Techniques to 9th - 12th graders who become Ambassadors with their schools and community.
