Lifting Our Very Existence

Micalyn Lucas has always had a passion for learning about and connecting with people. That is why she double majored in Psychology and Communication in college. Soon after graduating, she was introduced to yoga, and fell in love. She found yoga was yet another way to connect with people but in a deeper, more spiritual way than what she had experienced in college. She quickly decided to become a certified yoga instructor, enrolling in teacher training at Citizen Yoga. She is now the founder of an organization called Lifting Our Very Existence, that allows her to use what she has learned through her degrees and yoga teacher training to bring people together through community, conscious conversation, and self-exploration.
